It is TASHRA’s goal to do research with and for the kink community. To this end, we have gathered together our Community Advisory Board (CAB) as an inclusive and diverse group of active members of the kink/Leather/BDSM/fetish communities and seek to include others who may not formally identify as part of the kink community but also are affected by stigma, discrimination and health disparities. The Community Advisory Board offers guidance, and is an access point for the community to coordinate and streamline engagement and outreach to the kink community. The Community Advisory Board’s most significant role is to provide us with critical feedback and guidance to ensure that our research is both relevant and responsive to those who are kink and fetish interested.
