March - Sex History.png

Join us Saturday,

March 19th

8:30am-11:30am PST

Taking a thorough sexual history can feel overwhelming to many providers in health care. Despite several tools for healthcare professionals to utilize, the ability to take a formal and non-judgemental sex history is a skill set that is rarely and often incompletely taught. Techniques and implementation of a Sex History is as vital as the tool itself; this course offers an opportunity to learn technique and implementation that is conducive to Sex History as a tool. You will learn the history of taking a Sex History, gain an understanding of the current tools available to clinicians, how to best adapt these tools to your practice as and how to create a supportive and comfortable environment for your clients.
